I find it pretty interesting that you've chosen to write a prequel to a movie. That's not something I've seen before on Mibba. I also can't help but admire the effort that must have gone into writing the sheer bulk of this. It goes on forever! Congratulations on sticking with this for so long.

Great chapter! Someone really needs to tape her mom's mouth shut. Ah yes typical Jack, always wanting to go after the bad guy. But I know where he's coming from. Sitting there helpless would drive me crazy too. Though I prefer to do the saving myself, there's just something irresistible about Jackie. Update soon!

She lived! Her panging for Jack the entire time made my heart hurt, it was almost painful to read.
I really hope nothing worse happens to the pair of them...

Im starting chapter 8 and i already love it. You have the characters down exceptionally well. So much in fact that i remember how mad i was always at bobby during the movie. I feel in love with Jack within the the first chapter. Now reading the last chapter I feel like I know Jackie better. Poor guy! Haley is awesome! A girl that isn't afraid to fight back, gotta love it.
I really hope Jack doesn't come to the same end as the movie. That was heartbreaking.
Anyway, awesome story! Keep it up!

This chapter was serious, and yet sweet at the same time.
It's good that Jack knows what goes on at her house, I think it'll make their connection deeper, if at all possible.
