    I never read heterosexual stories and I never read Alex Gaskarth fanfics. But the plot is so original it's gotten me hooked. To be honest, I'm pretending this is original fiction instead of a fanfic.

    But the one thing that is making me come close to unsubscribing? Hostage updates. No reader likes it when an author holds updates hostage for comments. "I want x number of comments before I update". Seriously? No. That's stupid and annoying. If it continues, I'm unsubscribing. It's not worth reading a story where the author is just going to hold updates hostage for comments. That won't make you get more readers, you'll lose some. I hate reading stories where updates are held hostage and if I continue to see it, you'll have lost a subscriber. I don't like seeing and neither does anyone else. It's annoying and pointless to hold updates hostage for comments. Not trying to be mean, just saying.
