I want to write a decent comment, I just can't right now. I'll update it later though.
I think they were the best characters to use really, and I liked how Aled was so sure of himself. It's a nice change to how he is usually written. How he knew he'd already won, or however you expressed it. Gus was amazing as well. I like how he developed from being quite nervous about how Aled 'owed' him to following him up to the roof and screaming. Awesome.

The idea of doing it together in one chapter, i think you told me you wrote 200 characters each at a time, was a really great one. A nice edgy dimension to it.
