Aw. That was great!! I really enjoyed this story. I've gotta admit, though, that I checked the comments half-way through to make sure there was a happy ending. I got that horrible sibling feeling when Gerard was going crazy on Mikey about "the plan". I was paranoid that tragedy would strike or something. But it didn't (until later on, and that was in a slightly less-horrible form). You're a great author and I'm so happy that I started reading this. It was worth it.

Okay, so I've just finished readint this in one sitting and I thought I should leave you a comment.

First of all, it was refreshing to find a story where the author actually knows about grammar and used it well.
It was also nice with a semi-unique storyline (because writing a completely unique storyline is pretty much impossible these days) that had good thought to it and didn't go over the top.

However, there's only one thing that pulled the story down a little bit. And it was the whole hostage drama with Steve. See, what most people forget is that love itself is so complicated and it can bring forth so many storylines with cliffhangers, heartache and drama without having to involve kifefights, guns or hostage situations.

The whole emotional drama of Frank not doing the right thing, even though clearly he didn't love Jamia anymore, was quite enough. It was enough to keep the story going, without it being something that just dragged on forever in order to keep the story going.

I've read too many good stories where suddenly a gun is pulled out and that mostly just ruins the story. It didn't ruin your story, but it did lower the quality of it.

Other than that I was happy with your writing and the storyline. You delivered a great story, that was more light-hearted than most stories out there. Though there were some heartache, it was over all not a 'sad' and 'heartbreaking' story. Which I actually like, because there are too many stories out there that makes me cry etc.

Thank good for a good story that actually makes you smile instead.
