all right... when you first started rewriting this months ago, i was very excited/nostalgic but i could not bring myself to focus on anything long enough to read it. today i was going through some of my old stories on mibba (dear god) and I suddenly remembered that I had never checked up on this story. so i came back for a “quick” peek and have been fully absorbed since. I.... wow. Hm. Not sure I have the right words to express what I’m feeling, but I thought you should know how much I adore this story and its characters. I loved it when I was a kid, and I love it now, what? 9, 10 years later? My taste back then was questionable, but this is one of the only things that I truly cannot fault 13-year-old me for enjoying. thank you for writing it. it was (and possibly still is) one of the best original gay fiction stories on this site, and that was really important for me to come across as a baby gay still dealing with a lot of internalized homophobia— especially when pretty much every other gay story i read at the time was full of ignorance and misguided portrayals. aaaanyway, i’ll leave it at that for now.

oh, and also, i’d die for parker. this may or may not be something that stone and I have in common.

The new twist this time around is going to be that Parker accidentally kills himself by being whacked in the head too many times over the course of two months lmao.

The angst fuels me so I went back and read the last several chapters to prepare for this one and boy was I not disappointed.

Thought of this randomly a few days ago and decided to come back and reread. I hadn’t thought of this in years honestly, not sure why it popped into my brain. Quarantine boredom I guess. I’m pleasantly surprised to find you’ve been adding more content. The story is as good as I remember and I’m glad to enjoy it again!!

God I’m so ready for the confrontation between Parker and Stone. I loved the little bit of teen angst in the last few chapters, it really gets me hooked lmao
