I really like this story so far :) It has loads of potential to be amazing! :D I agree with the people below me about how you've done something different and chose a different perspective, and I love it. I hope you update this at some point and finish it because I really do think it will be a great story

They're really strong friends, the whole band + ''main chick'' are.
Patrick is just more sensitive.

It's something different and I love it!

...since the release of FAD. It’s like a symbolic date, the day that my relationship with Fall out Boy took a different turn. The day that the bonds thinned so much that you could barely see them.

I could see why people would think that.FAD is a good album though. Haha.
Also, Patrick! I know that he was usually so modest and stuff, but with his new look and solo gig, I think he might become just a little prideful. Well, maybe I'm hoping. It's about time he started acting like he's the shit. :p

You are a really great writer. I absolutely adore how you form the story. Though it kind of makes me angry how you have such a wonderful way with words and I don't. But I get jealous of everyone I comment, so this is, atypical.

I have to agree with Patrick Stump, the mibba user.
I mean, I've always wondered what made them change so drastically.

I remember once, when my friend spent the night, and we were just listening to random songs from my itunes. I turned to her and said, "hey, check this out," and then I proceded to play a few songs off Evening Out With Your Girlfriend. My friend, being more into punk, alternative, all that sort, was like, "wow, this is really good!"
When I told her it was Fall Out Boy she shitted bricks and then said, "how can music so sweet turn into mainstream shit?"
Sure, as any loyal fan, I defended Fall Out Boy and almost chewed my friends head off for even saying that, her obviously not being pro-Fall Out Boy. But I thought to myself, "she's right. How could such a band that was down to earth change so much that it seems they're only trying to fit into the scene of todays music."
I might be wrong, though everyone is entitled to an opinion, right?

The idea of this is really, really great. :D
I've always wondered exactly how FOB went from punkass to... Folie A Duex. And this is perfect for my imagination :D

I like the whole idea of FOB, as a whole, turning into something fake and "puppets of the industry". Like, I know some people consider Pete that, but reading that the rest of the boys act like that too, it's interesting.

Some of my favorite parts were
"I had the perception that the band’s old songs were only played in my car, and everybody had already forgotten young Fall out Boy and the songs which actually made sense"

and
"They used to be authentic when they laughed about everything impulsive and funny, when they jotted down scattered words that came to mind and formed new songs, when they didn’t think that smiling means vulnerability and ordinariness.

When they were FALL OUT BOY in plain bold letters and not Fall out Boy in fancy fonts.

I can't wait to read more (:
