A very enjoyable one-shot (if you'll continue, i don't know.) Like me, your strong point is descriptions.
One little line kinda confused me:
The smell of booze seeping through the walls, creeping out from beneath the cabinet.
After booze, the word seeping seemed to be in the wrong form. Maybe was seeping or seeped would be better.
The ending made me smile. That's a good thing.Gotta' Love Mikey
