Maybe it was a filler, but I think it was necessary. Peyton's phone call with her mom made me really sad, but I think its important that Max spoke to her. I think she needs comfort that he's providing, and perhaps he can talk to Josh for her. He's really in the middle with his sister on one end and his bandmate/bestie/practicallybrother on the other, so maybe he can help. But I want another update asap.
