This is a really thought provoking piece. I love the questions you’ve incorporated into this, and how they seem to have a greater philosophical meaning to them.
I also love the metaphor you’ve created with God’s pocket, which I’ve assumed is meant to be heaven. Or maybe heaven is too concrete of a word, but just a place where everything feels perfect, and knowledge is infinite. I think you’ve really described that feeling well.
Because suddenly I've seen the pocket before, and don't you yearn to fly back?
I feel like this was a perfect finish, especially since it ends on a question that sort of echoes through the reader’s mind, if that makes any sense.
After having read one of your pieces before (I Know Exactly), this has just confirmed how unique of a writing style you have. It’s gorgeous, really.
This was amazing and made me think.
