I liked it! You used a gradual time line, which helped with the realism of the story, it also allowed you to develop and define the relationship between Darla and Jordan in a solid matter.

It was nice to see that you did pay attention to the emotional aspects that occurred throughout, this is another aspect that allowed me to get drawn into the plot line.

I also liked how you incorporated the photo into the story in more than one way, not only in the emotionally missing way, but also the physical presence of the tree. I thought it was neat that you were able to use the motif of the tree throughout the story and even conclude it.

It was cute. I loved that you put a background story on both Jordan and Darla's family became friends it really added substance to the story. I also like the progression timeline, you can follow it as they grow up instead of jumping from time period to time period.

I also loved how cute Jordan and Darla were together, the way they acted was believable and you were able to flesh out their feelings and give description.
