To lose like the Blackhawks did, that's terrible. They worked hard for those three straight games, and then force overtime in game 7... I was shitting myself - I'm a Canucks fan through and through. And I honestly couldn't breathe during game 7 because I was terrified that Chicago would once again defeat the Canucks (I had some giggles in knowing it took Toews game 7 to score, though... :D)

As for your one-shot, I love it! It's the exact situation you'd expect after a tough season and coming back to a significant other. Well put!
