If you ever write things on your iPod, put it onto Word (or any other word processor) and spell check. Always. iPods suck for typing, capitalisation and all things writing related - touch qwertys are not reliable at all.

Also the grammar check on word processors may help you, but you might want to consider a beta reader for a foolproof checkover.

A bit of (hopefully) constructive criticism for you there.

The Story also needs to be capitalized. More Than Just Curious.

You need to check your capitalization and you need to use the correct paragraph format:

Gerard released my hand and looked over at Ray.

"Well my little Gerard I gotta get to class, same as you. So bye, and see you at lunch," Ray said before turning and walking down the hall, Afro bouncing as he moved.

Gerard turned back to me and smiled warmly. "Let me see your schedule," he said as he snatched it from my hand.
He unfolded it and smiled down at the now crumbled paper.

"We have gym together," he said as he handed me back my schedule. "Come on and I'll walk you to class."

He smiled as he grabbed my arm and pulled me down the hall to the gymnasium. It was only first period and I had already made myself a friend.
