Short chapters, but you explain what your trying tobin a good way. Think you could have not described her smile so much, but it all goes towards the fact that shes a silent person. Nice way of describing someones personality in one small chapter, very well written. Keepnit up

I've only read to the end of chapter three but I enjoy this story.
The first two chapters are relatively short but you managed to get your ideas and meanings across clearly. You use very nice descriptions and I can tell that you have a vast vocabulary, which results in a well written story.
Upon entering chapter three I was confused at first, thinking that the mute boy was names Gabriel, and that he finally began to talk, but at the end when it is informed he will be mentoring a deathly quiet student, I recognized the characters.
I am planning on continuing this story, since it is so well written. Nice job.

But yeah, that's EXACTLY how I feel. You can't fix what's not broken, and trying to only causes mistakes to be made, and thus arises irreversible damages, no matter how innocent the intent.
I can't wait until Gabe realizes what his "goodwill" is gonna eventually lead to- the destruction of everything that was originally and genuinely William Beckett.

I think the reason I like this story so much is the almost inevitable fact that William, in one way or another, is eventually gonna get hurt, and when it comes to good fics, I tend to end up a bit of a sadist.
Poor, stupid Gabw thinking he's helping William...
