This story is nice.
There are really good concepts and the wording is outstanding.
One reason though I think no one is reading and/or commenting is the visual aspect of the story. Maybe if you get a picture for the story box and an original layout more people will be attracted to it.
I mean really, who doesn't like pictures and pretty colors?
