So I'm in love with this story! It reminds me of Emily Dickinson's poem: "I felt a Funeral in my Brain" like the poem ur character is totally aware of the fact he is insane! I think knowing the forming of insanity is an intriguing idea to be toyed with and you've done a great job with it:) Can't wait to read more:)
... Is it weird that I find insanity this cool? .... Probably:! But I'm cool with it:D lol
