Okay I randomly came across this and I could not stop reading it. It was so cute and so sad but then became really super cute again especially at their show when they reunited and just. Easily one of the best yams stories I've ever read. I'm really glad I found this because you did an absolute fantastic job!

I found this story a year ago and adored it. Here I am now, about to start it over again because it's still the best fan fiction I've ever read. ♥

I know you you wrote that chapter ages ago. But I'm reading at the part where there is a chapter missing and I'm a little confused. would you be able to fill me in? I absolutely love this so far. Cant wait to finish reading!

The ending was fucking perfect. It brings everything back to what Merika's central problem was: coping with her mother's death, and she's going through it with someone who has finally earned a permanent place in her life who has also gone through the loss of a parent. They just go so well together, and they can heal each other. I'm not even gonna bullshit, I teared up a bit at this epilogue. One of the greatest ones I've read. And then of course, she has finally taken the time to sit down and at the very least be introduced to her biological father. This whole time she has been cutting corners to avoid the inevitable, but it shows how mature she is becoming. Instead of making a scene and yelling at him just at the sight of him, she is being reasonable and finding it in her heart to at least give him a chance.

I cannot thank you enough for writing this story. It has really opened up my eyes not only as a person, but as a writer. It's getting my imagination back into the cycle of things, and I'm working harder to try to keep up with my own projects. This was just so beautiful and rich. I'm sad to see it go but I'm happy that I got to experience it.

I'm so glad they ended together. This was one of my favorite stories that I've read on here :)

Oh girl, this was like the perfect ending for this! Dan going with Merika to meet her mom was just too perfect for words. Seriously that man just UGH. And it was also just so fitting that the ending included her mom, Gregory and her real dad. Because this story had so much more to it than just Dan, all the relationships in it made it amazing. I'm so freaking attached to this story I cannot believe it's done! This was my favourite, not just because of Dan and Merika though I mean obviously I loved that haha. But it was everyone, especially Cecily and Gregory. It showed that there was so much more involved in helping Merika to stop giving in to her fears.
I FUCKING LOVED THIS STORY SO MUCH.
And damn straight I called dibs on this man after we met him, seriously whenever I think of that night I still smile like an idiot to myself. Why is he so charming?!?!
I cannot wait until you, Sierra and I are finally reunited with our foreign boys. We are going to go crazy, they will not know what hit them!

Why did you all of a sudden start using bad grammar and use of quotations in chapter 16. You did so good up until then. Punctuation is always inside the quotations.

The end was perfect. How everything seems alright and how they're together and how she finally took the courage to talk to her real dad. I love it.

Dan meeting her mother and talking like she was right there in front of him really got me choked up, what a beautiful thing to do for her, one thing I was hoping for though- what happened to Cecily and josh? Do they still go strong? And does Merika study in England instead? I think Gregory is one of my favourite characters you've written in the handful of your stories I've read, I'm really going to miss this story just because of how lovely the plot was, from ugly Christmas sweaters to dan running after her on the airport :') thank you for writing this xx
