wat. i'm gone for a couple of weeks, and there's someone named jax sweeping val off of her feet?! WHY IS THERE SOMEONE NAMED JAX SWEEPING VAL OFF OF HER FEET?

i'm sorry. anyway, i love that garrett called her because he needed to talk to someone, and that in the end, she let him tell her all about the show, because my initial prediction... er, predicted this kind of thing. it makes me happy inside. and, holy crap, the way you've written pat is hilarious and adorable and i can't handle it.

oh! and i always though val was black...

Garrett not wanting to tell Pat about Val is kind of cute....it means that he likes her but doesn't want people to know (at least in my head that's what it means hahaha).

I almost cried on this chapter, especially when Val talked about missing Sage's funeral. It was heart-wrenching. At leat Garrett and Val are finding a bit of comfort in each other.

...okay, when trey almost tripped on the curb, i read 'almost trippin out the club'. there's something wrong with me, i tell you.

i think garrett, crying in front of val, was the first wall to come down. there's a tiny bond between them, some vulnerability. i mean, you can cry in front of people, but crying in front of someone going through the same pain you are is different. and i kinda smiled at the last line... because i know what i first predicted, and i wholeheartedly believe that i'm right.

I love this. I have this weird thing where I like stories where someone dies....so morbid, I know. But I just love how people come together and bond over someone's death. It still sounds pretty morbid but hopefully you understand what I mean. Anway this is wonderful and I can't wait to read more.

actually, for a bit there, i thought she's gone blind. like, blind, coming out of a coma with a stronger sense of hearing. man, i'm really dramatic. i guess it's all the degrassi i've been watching for the past six or seven years.

i think she's either going to have a really hard time dealing or she's going to try to get over it and our buddy, garrett, is going to be mad... okay, i don't really think that last part. i just felt i should add something there. wah.
