I dont understand why Sid told Ashlee he loved her - when it doesnt appear he does.

And why he would tell Lisa all this if he had no intension of leaving Ashlee. He isnt really making much sense right now.

Again, I think Sid did the right thing. He is with Ashlee and messing around with Lisa would be wrong. It would eventually wreck things with Sid and Lisa.

Now that Sid knows how Lisa feels, he has to go and break things off with Ashlee. Once he does that, he can start making things work with Lisa.

My heart breaks for her.

Well despite what it seems, I think this was a huge step forward for Lisa. She didnt run when she saw Sid with his new girlfriend. She is starting to understand that she has to heal before she can give herself in any HEALTHY relationship. And the fact that Lisa is seeing that she is in love with Sid - but maybe she is also seeing that he was in love with her. That she hurt him.

This girlfriend of Sid's was reactionary - he as much admitted this when he said how Lisa had hurt him by being with Patrick - and I really dont think it will amount to anything.

I cant wait to see where you go with the next chapter.

i cant say that I am surprised that Sidney has a "girlfriend". I think he was so hurt by what Lisa did he had to find something - or in this case, someone - to help him over it. By her description, and his reaction, I get the feeling that the "girlfriend" is not a huge emotional attatchment.

But James was right. Lisa had to see the consequence of her actions. Now it is up to her to show that she has really grown and dealt with her issues. I think she needs to give Sid some time to adjust to her being back.

Besides, didnt "broken Sidney" try this type of "therapy" once before - just before Lisa left.

I understand James' reluctance to believe that Lisa is going to change - he has been burned several times before. But she is his sister - and he wants to be there for her.

I think Lisa needed to hear Jon's reaction - that he understood that she had to go to Pittsburgh - that in order for her to heal, she needed to make amends. This made her feel that she was finally starting to do something right.

I hope that Sidney gives Lisa a chance to explain - hopefully she hasnt hurt him so badly that he cannot forgive her.

Well I guess this was Lisa hitting bottom - or at least fairly close. As badly as I feel for her, I think it was necessary. She cant keep drinking and sleeping her way through life. She has to want more. And I think she is starting to realize this.

I think James will take her in - yes he has been burned by her, but he is her brother and he loves her. I think he will just want to see that she is sincere in wanting to change.

Sid may be another story - Lisa really hurt him and he may not be ready to forgive her.

I am really not getting how Lisa is dealing with anything - I mean I can understand horny, but does she really have feelings for Patrick...or is it that she doesnt feel she deserves any better than a little "man-whore"?

Lisa has got to start dealing with the other issues - before she can actually have an honest relationship with anyone.
