It was sad seeing Holly deteriorate like that, but at least Nathan was going to a good home. He surely will be loved by the both of them and i'm so sad to see this story end but I wouldn't have it end any other way. It was so beautifully written and I couldn't be any more prouder than you.

It's a long process regardless. Anyone can appoint guardianship in their will just need a lawyer to make it official. Holly is one so less work for her. I guess you are going to do a time skip?

I can only base on the cases I know in Portugal and sometimes processes take 1 year or more but in this case, Holly may be the key-part. She is a lawyer and if she wants she can actually write down that Nathan's guardians will be Robert and Penelope.
Nothing can replace this child or the expectation they had. It is almost as if they could touch her and then were forbidden to. It's going to be hard for them to overcome it but Nathan may be the start over they really need.

My feels like to argue a lot. Especially when there is some PMS. Just, ugh, feels.

There are always options and that's a good transition to have them thunkin of adoption. Idk how long an adoption process is but I heard it can be up to a year or more to finally gain custody over a child unless Holly writes in her will that she wants someone to become his guardian. I think that's a shorter process...I'm not sure. It's sad seeing pen and Robert putting the baby stuff away and the wound would never heal completely, losing a child is the worst trauma that can happen. No one can replac their child but they can start learning to cope
