I really like that you made your own characters in this and didn't just make it a remake of the original book but replacing Katniss with an OC. I see a lot of people doing that so I like that this was unique in that aspect! I also really love the way you wrote the reaping scene and that you chose the quell where they have to elect their tributes. I think that's the worst one of all because then you would know that everyone around you picked you to be sacrificed. That would be the worst time to be a victor! This story is really great and I love it

I'm so glad comment swap brought me here as I've really enjoyed what you've got so far! I LOVE The Hunger Games, like it's one of my favourite book series' and favourite movies ever so to read a fic based on it is incredible. I can't wait to read more and find out where this story will go as you are truly talented and your writing is great. I love how you've got such a great way of writing through describing scenes and emotions, it's something I always look for when I read a fic so it's another reason why I like yours so much. Okay, so confession: I have never read the hunger games. or seen the film.

I've been meaning to for absolutely ages but never got round to it, due to those other less important things that take up your life in that irritating way.

So, because of this, I started to read this with a completely blank mind. Admittedly, I probably would have enjoyed (or perhaps understood) your first chapter better if I knew what the hunger games are about, but it seems really great so far and I really liked reading it :)

Your writing style is fantastic, and thats the most important thing. After reading the first chapter, I am going to go out and buy the Hunger Games books, and once I have done that, I'm going to come back and carry on reading your fic, in the hope of being able to enjoy it more! It's all abit weird reading fanfics that are based on something you don't know anything about... haha!

Okay so to summarise: really enjoyed so far, your writing style is great, aaaaand keep it up! :D

I'm actually really intrigued by this so far. I definitely think that you should continue to write this story. I'm definitely interested in seeing what happens at the Reaping and who her male companion tribute is and how they will be dressed in the Capital, what the Arena will look like, what will happen, who will win.... hmmm me thinks that I'm looking forward to everything and anything that could happen in this story! :-p Deff can't wait to hear more!
