Well, Cherry probably had to continue wearing the Flyer's jersey for warmth if nothing else if she hadn't brought a coat along. *devil's advocate* Excellent update!

And I'd love to see who Zoe finagles for Danny and Claude in a spin-off. Esp. Danny.

Sorry I didnt mean to be a problem on this one...and yes, I think she finally redeemed herself at the end when they both agreed to clear the slate.

I was getting kinda mad at her for continuing to wear the Giroux shirt, when she could see that it was antagonizing Sid - and when she allowed Giroux to cozy up to her...well, she almost lost me there.

But she did apologize for not phoning when she said she would, and Sid was more than willing to forgive her.

It will be interesting when they get back to Pittsburgh!

Not really loving Cherry right now. Girls are always complaining about guys playing games, but Sid laid everything out for Cherry, told her exactly how he felt, that he wanted to be with her, and here she is playing games with him.

And the whole playing dumb about the Giroux/Crosby rivalry doesn't really work. You don't have to know about the rivalry to know that it is going to hurt Sid if you show up in someone else's jersey. Not cool Cherry.

If I were Sid this would be about the time I started to think she might not be everything he thought she was. I hope Cherry gets her act together and proves to be worthy of Sid's estimation of her.

not sure why Cherry is playing games. She told Sid to wait and she would contact him. He did wait. And then she says "Im sorry" - that's it???

And I know she doesnt know the bad blood between Sid and Giroux, but even to show up in a Flyers jersey. Sid told her he was jealous when she wore Neal's jersey - did she think he would be any happier with her in another team's jersey?

I will be interested to see how the game ends up!

It was interesting that James took a step back in all this. It was very understanding of him - almost too understanding.

But I have a feeling that there is going to be a misunderstandng on what transpired between Cherry and James. Sid is absolutely going to assume the worst.

Cherry should have realized Sid was probably gong to be pacing like a caged animal all night long and probably should have at least meassaged him something in the morning.

Enjoying your story - it is interesting to see Cherry go through all of this.
But as much as I understand that she feels obliged to James, I keep coming back to one word - Kismet

Trying to figure out where Cherry's head is at - and maybe she is too! I hope she isnt denying Sid just on some misplaced loyalty to James. I hope there is more to it than that.

I do think she has to let James in on what happened in the summer - because it is eventually going to come out, and he will be angry that he was left in the dark, if she doesnt.

And I get how everyone says that Sid is competitive - no doubt he is. But despite his easier going manner, James is competitive too. You dont get to the NHL without being competitive.

And no one likes to lose out on a girl!

I get that Cherry is feeling a little ambivalent about pursuing something with Sid after she had been asked out by James - sort of puck bunnyish - but for her to resist Sid climbing into bed with her...she must have will of steel.

Especially seeing as she already knows he "has skills"!

And he wants to introduce her to his Mom!!! Too sweet for words.

The tension between the two of them is unreal - something is definitely going to explode.

Now that he knows, the big question is what is he going to do about it.
