    Wow, this is beautiful. I think you've captured the emotion of what I assume is someone going off to war perfectly. I see so many of these written from the perspective of those being left behind, so I love that this shows it from the soldier's side. Your writing is simply breathtaking, flows really evenly and your description is full of sheer emotion. I love it.
