As endings go, I enjoyed this one. It's unexpected but open ended, meaning there's a story after it that you may write, or you may not. If you don't, it's up to us to decide what happens next, and I like that idea, that everyone will wish and hope for different things for both of our heroes. I personally hope they fight and win together and that one day, Phoenix will be free and Steve will have his woman at his side in all things, not just war.
The story as a whole is freaking wonderful. You did such a brilliant job getting everything across and you did it in a way where word vomit wasn't needed. Short and sweet and it does what it needs to do, tell a story with as much depth as possible but without the length. I really freaking loved this. Amazing.
Congratulations on an excellent story! I hope to see more work like this from you bub :D
That fox still makes my day. I love it To the update, loved it too! I love how Steve's getting attached, even against everyone's orders or best judgements and whatnot. For once he's bending the rules and not being the 'serve and obey' robot they seem to think he is. He really wouldn't ever stand for that kind of rubbish, men torturing a woman(or anyone for that matter) just for some kind of gain. It's be even stronger if he liked the person, which here he does.
I'm loving the short chapters too, which I never thought I'd ever say haha I usually hate short updates, but with this story, anything more than what you have wouldn't really fit. It's sharp and to the point, impressive.
Welcome back, hazaah for zeh computer and I love this and you :D
I honestly think that you should make this into a longer, bigger story because it makes me happy because I adore Captain America and your writing is stunning.
I like how she warns him, even though he's trying to be nice and all that, she's still telling him she's not a good person and won't hold back from hurting him if he's in the way. It really makes it real for him, and for we, the readers. I also like how even after that, she's still willing to try, even if it is just so that she can go and kill bad guys haha.
I have to agree, short and sharp chapters are giving this kind of story all the more of a punch. I'm freaking loving it. I thought short was going to leave loose ends, leave things unsaid and unexplained. But it hasn't at all, it's seriously making it :D I love this, I love how you're writing it and I seriously can't wait for more. This story is epic. I also am still so deeply in love with the fox in the banner.
You totally got me with the summary, I was expecting Jean Gray's Phoenix. I'm getting the inkling that this girl is the new Phoenix host, or do I just need to go to bed? Lol. Anyway, I loved the beginning and I can't wait to read more of this. It seems really good and you really know how to give a first chapter that's going to draw in the readers. Fabulous, doll, fabulous
OMG woah... Also, I've been meaning to ask you.. I have an idea for an Avengers fic, but don't wanna do it alone.. it's more of a Captain one.... if you is interested.. or if you know anyone is?
