Oh how cute! I'm fine that they are taking things slow, but apparently Parker feels differently! I didn't even think the picture they painted would get to the ex-wife like it did. Good job!
Poor Parker. I don't think she really wants Kevin. I know I wouldn't be able to trust someone who left me when I needed him most. But maybe she feels she has to get "back in the saddle" so to speak - and since Sidney isn't reading the signs, Parker may have to resort to Plan B.
I think Sidney is seeing the signs, but either he doesn't trust his judgement - which is why he wants Parker to spell it out by saying his name - or he just isn't ready to take that next step. He is still pretty emotionally wrecked by all that went down between him and Sara.
Speaking of Sara, she has no right whatsoever to be angry with Sid for "moving on" - or whatever is going on. She divorced him, used him a couple more times for sex and then left him high and dry. I get that there is more to her reasons for the divorce than she is letting on, but bottom line is she ripped his heart out and left him. She banked on him not moving on with another woman; she also counted on him answering her calls right away. Sara was relying on the fact that Sid was still emotionally tied to her and that she ran the show. But things seem to have changed and Sara is not happy!
I hope Sid tells Sara that now is not a good time and leaves to go on the walk with Parker. I really hope he doesn't stand her up a second time.
I would really like for Sara to just completely disappear, it's not fair to Sid for her to keep calling and showing up randomly. I would love for Sid and Parker to get together.
So I love this story..... And I NEED you to update!!! It's so good! I do get a little confused when it's in Sarah POV but I got it.... I can't wait to see what happens next!!
Sid and Parker are so adorable together. At least Phoebe made him say Parker was pretty out loud. I wonder how she'll react when she realizes Sidney is in fact Sidney Crosby or if she already knows (she's a smart lady) but is letting him feel comfortable enough until he's ready to tell her the truth.
While I understand Parker's quandary as to which direction to go - emotional baggage laden Sid or unreliable ex-boyfriend Kevin - maybe it is best that she just take things as they come. I personally would be really reluctant to "re-kindle" any kind of relationship with a guy who left me high and dry at a time when I probably needed his love and support the most. He would have to have a pretty good explanation of why he left - and an even better reason of why I should take him back!!
But as wonderful as Sid seems, there are some definite issues to be overcome here. Not the least of which he has never proposed anything more than friendship - despite the mixed messages he may be sending out.
But the afternoon with Phoebe was pretty sweet. Sid's interaction with her is certainly a very attractive quality.
