I like the slow burn and build up between two people. I've had the idea about someone wanting to go north and try to fight off walkers for a while, see how it differs than in the south.

I like that she wasn't immediately smitten by Daryl. She saw him as a dirty man, which he is, but didn't comment on his good looks. They also didn't have this badass stand off. It was just a normal meeting. It's an interesting concept of her wanting to go North, but seems like a pretty reasonable idea.
