I am SO glad I checked my spam folder (even if I was a few months late to this update, oops). I honestly thought it was a weird glitch but I'm so glad you're back! I hope you're still doing well

Wow, talk about heartbreaking all the way around (in the best way possible, of course). I'm so sad for Ally with the way everything happened with Nancy and Jonathan, and I'm especially sad for Dustin after the discovery of "Will's" body. I second what Death_to_Roses said, I think Barb needs to stay alive since it's pretty clear right now that Nancy is a friend out of convenience, not a true bond like Ally has with Barb. Great update, and I look forward to the next!

I'm so frustrated at Nancy and Jonathan and the police department and just that Ally feels alone right now. It seriously makes me feel so hopeless and sad for her, so of course I voted that Barb stay alive because she's such a solid friend and it'd be so devastating to lose her. Thank you for uploading, and I hope everything is well for your family!

I'm sorry to hear about your family emergency, and I hope everything turns out okay! I was really happy to see that you updated though! The hug between Ally and Jonathan was really cute and bittersweet, and I thought Ally going over to help Joyce was a really nice gesture. Ally is such a generous and thoughtful character and I love the way you write her. I'm looking forward to reading more, but of course, take your time and I'll be sending positive vibes to you and your family!

I'm so happy to see the first appearance of Hopper! I hope what Dustin told him doesn't get them into trouble, and that Hopper takes care of things for them... or that the Demogorgon eats Don, that would also be pretty cool. I like how Ally mixes into the canon so far, and I really love her relationships with Barb and Dustin. It's nice to see Barb explored as a character more here, rather than the little we get in the show. Awesome update, as always!

I was so, so excited to see you updated!! Joyce was literally so cute and funny when they went to her store, and Jonathan is the absolute sweetest guy for checking up on Ally after he dropped her off. Don can eat a big bag of dicks. But I LOVED Jonathan and Ally's almost kiss, and I'm really interested to see how the canon events in Stranger Things changes/evolves their relationship. Fantastic update!!

Absolutely LOVED the update!! Ally and Dustin have such a cute relationship, and him teasing her about Jonathan was hilarious. I also really like seeing Barb and Ally’s friendship and how she pushes her to take a chance with Jonathan and is so supportive. Plus, I really enjoyed the little Genesis shoutout since they’re one of my favorite bands. Can’t wait for more!

Okay, this is the first Stranger Things fic I've read and, as a massive fan of the show, I'm disappointed in myself. Your summary really captured my attention and I'm so excited to see what this story holds!

I love how you began this with the start of the day. Admittedly, usually it's pretty boring for me to read, but in this case it gives the reader a nice peek into the lives of Dustin and his family and I really appreciate that.

I love your characterization of Steve, Nancy, and Barb! Seriously, you're spot on and I'm loving it! I understand why Jonathan just shot off like that, because he's made fun of a lot, but I wish he would've given Ally a chance because she wasn't talking bad about him.

I love how persistent Ally was with Jonathan. It was nice to see when he finally gave her the assignment, and then he asked her to stay and !!! there's trust!

Don seems like a waste of space and I hope he gets what's coming to him at some point.

Monominous Feelings

Ally is such a good sister to Dustin, protecting him like she is and lying that everything's okay. She just wants him to be a kid and that's so clear to me.

Ally totally likes Jonathan and it's so obvious. Barb and Nancy were definitely right. She can deny it all she wants but the chemistry is there and God, do I love that chemistry!

Wouldn't It Be Nice

God, I hate Don with all of my person. Not only treating Ally like that but Dustin too? They don't deserve it at all and I just mmm, I hate him. Dustin is such a good brother though, and I love the bond he and Ally have!

I love that Barb is so willing to help Ally out! She's a really good friend and I love her so much. You go her personality down to a T and I love it. AND SEEING HOW CONCERNED JONATHAN GOT!!!

Lucas' little crush on Ally is so cute. I'm smiling at him coming in and leaving the door open.

I'm really enjoying how real Barb is with Ally about Jonathan. You can tell Ally is comfortable around her.

I love that Barb helped her take a chance and now she's getting a ride from Jonathan! I can't wait to see how that goes.
