I really like this. Its an interesting and engaging origin story; it kind of reminds me a of greek mythology. In modern times we often see deities as perfect and fully omniscient. This story presents gods as imperfect, flawed and subject to human-like tendencies and vices, which has a similar tone to greek mythology. Nice use of imagery in your descriptions also. Hope to hear more!
