To Be Like Me - Comments

This is a really good start. For a second there, I thought it was going to be the disorder in the other way. Someone who's addicted to food and can't stop eating. Oh well, this one's good, too.

I really like this. Its focusing on a problem that many teens go through, especially today with all of the stick-skinny models and famous actors that we see everyday in magazines and talkshows. I can't wait to read more!

"I dry heaved a few times and then it all came up. With it, my pride, my self respect, and most of all, and most importantly, all those horrible calories."

That line was very powerful and true. It was like he was vomiting up everything he ever stood for as a person and it's sad because no one should ever feel like that. It's sad to see what people go through and feeling like you can't do anything about it. I just want to hug Gerard, but a hug really wont do anything.

The conversation between him and his mom brought a smile across my face, because that's something my mom would do. Ignore me and them put a smile on her face like what I have to do is not important. Also, that to me was like a cry for help. His mother pays no attention to what he does and I think it hurts him.

The summary was lovely as well and after reading that I had to know what was going on. Nice start so far. I guess I'm going to have to subscribe :tehe:

I loved it. You're a very talented writer, and the plot is so believable.
