I love this story! I read it about a year ago and got bored today and decided to read it again. I like the fact that Ryan's dad isn't abusive, too. Hitting their kids isn't the only way a parent can hurt them. I definitely know that from personal experience.

Heh this story was really good! That mayor twist int he end made it even better and quite funny! I hate it when people do that and his father was probably out getting laid or something! :O

Yah, I agree. I get that Ryan didn't have the world's best dad, but as far as I know, he's never said his father was abusive, just that they weren't on the best terms. Though, i gotta admit, my dad influenced this A LOT. If you couldn't tell from the bitterness.
