Nina

…What did she mean? She seemed fine to me. I mean she acted a bit differently than most of them (they were usually so friendly) but otherwise…

She didn’t know how to tell me.

I sighed and took over again.

“I’ll drive,” Dylan offered. I rolled my eyes.

“No thank you, water boy,” I said icily. I didn’t realize I said water boy until it was too late.

…Did you just call Dylan ‘water boy’?

…I think so.

“Excuse me?” Dylan asked, his lips twitching showing that he was clearly trying not to smile.

“…Um….”

Ian was sitting in the car probably ready to drive or something.

“…Is this Stormy…? Nina said that you didn’t like me very much,” he said. I frowned.

I didn’t want to upset him… A little white lie couldn’t hurt him, could it?

This is why you should think before you speak.

Oh, shut up.

“Yes, yes, it is,” I said.

“Oh…um nice to meet you…sort of,” he said awkwardly. I felt my lips twitch up into a smile.

This was kind of fun to watch.

“Likewise,” I said and smiled.
