Truthful Deceit and Delicate Roughness

Surreal and painfully true. Some of us wish this was all a lie. But this does happen.
The human mind gets tormented so much, and instinctively begins to fear the tormentor.

In this case, Portia was abandoned in a cave and fenced in with nothing but a mirror. When she is saved, Tamesis attempts to keep her own reflection away from her. How hard can it be keeping a feral child away from her own identity?

Although she does not understand the English language, or any language for that matter, Portia has a feeling she knows whats going on.

She has Catoptrophobia, a fear of mirrors.
