Love's Requiem

I had already heard from Niko that he was waiting to board his flight to New York, on to top of that I had been so busy during the pre show and post show I never got a chance to eat lunch or dinner.

"Just promise you'll have food!" I whined as I watched the guys play that night.

"Okay, okay what do you want?" Jesse asked me over the phone.

"Surprise me but make sure you have for Niko too and I'll pay you back once I see you." I told him.

"Don't worry, what are you doing now?"

"Watching them play."

"Nice, go be a good tour manager and give them your full attention and I'll see you in like
what three hours?"

"Okay, okay, see you then." I told him, as I hung up and went back to watching.

When they were getting towards the last song of their set, I headed to the dressing room to change seeing as the clothes I had on were sweaty and not that comfortable to wear on a plane, not to mention I had been wearing the same pair of jeans I had on already for the last three days. I quickly changed in to a pantera tee shirt, a new pair of grey jeans, a black element hoodie, as well as the same grey and black Nike's I had on before.

"I take it you're ready to go home?" Alex asked me as they walked in to the dressing room after playing, while I was in the middle of putting on some make up.

"You better believe it, Jesse's going to have food waiting for me and it will be epic!" I exclaimed packing up my make up and running out of the room to break down and load up.

Once everything was loaded in to the trailer, and I did a run through of the venue to make sure no one had left anything behind. I pulled on my jacket, wrapped my scarf around my neck, and slipped on my mittens before I headed out of the venue and to the bus.

"I'll give you a lift to the airport even though I still think you hate me." Jack explained while I dropped my backpack down.

"Why thank you." I smiled, as the bus left to drop us all off at Alex's house.

I said my goodbyes to everyone, and told them I'd see them on New Year's eve while Jack used the bathroom followed by him taking me to the airport.

"Have a safe flight Bella, and tell me once you land and everything okay?" Jack went over with me after I received my boarding pass.

"Okie dokie." I nodded, "Thank you for driving me, see you in a week." I told him giving him a big hug as I headed for my gate.

The flight as usual went quick, then again why wouldn't it when its an hour and ten minutes long and I was already beat from the lack of sleep I had over the past week. By the time I had got off the plane it was already almost 1:30, after I had to exit the airport and find the terminal that NIko was arriving at. By the time I finally found it, Jesse was already calling me telling me where he was parked, followed by a call from Niko.

"I'm right outside your terminal... I hope." I answered the phone.

"I'm waiting for my bag and I'll be out." Niko explained.

"No problem, I'm going to try and get inside so I can meet you." I told him before I hung up.

Luckily I was able to get inside, and a few minutes later out walked Niko pulling his two bags alongside of him.

"Niko!" I shouted waving my mitten-clad hands in the air.

"Don't you look warm?" He laughed as I jumped in to his arms giving him a hug. "How was your flight?"

"Passed out, yours?" I asked him as we left and I lead him to where Jesse had said he was parked.

"Long, my back is killing me it's so stiff." He explained.

"I'll rub it when we get to my apartment, are you hungry?" I asked him.

"Sort of."

"Good, Jesse got us food because I haven't eaten since this morning." I sighed as I felt my stomach grumble.

"Only you." He said shaking his head as I spotted the van.

"Bingo!" I exclaimed running to it and swinging open the back doors. "Good morning Mister
Ketive." I said as Niko put his bags in, and then got in to the back seats, while I slammed them shut and got up front.

"Good morning Miss. Sladovic." Jesse smiled as he gave me a hug. "How'd work go?"

"Eh the usual, Jack drove me to the airport after." I explained. "Why do I smell a bacon turkey bravo?" I asked him sniffing the air.

"Probably because I love you so much I brought you Pantera bread." He answered as he headed off.

"Oh my god I love you!" I shouted hugging him causing him to swerve the wheel a bit.

"Damnit Bella, calm down." He chuckled.

"My bad." I mumbled as I stared out the window for the rest of the ride drifting in and out of sleep.

When Jesse pulled up in front of my building, he shook me awake.

"Come on you, you'll be in your bed in like ten minutes." Jesse mumbled shaking me.

"Huh, what happened?" I said jolting up. "Home!" I exclaimed.

"Exactly."

"You coming up for a bit?"

"It's almost 4 in the morning I'm going home to sleep."

"Party pooper." I mumbled as he handed me the Panera bag. "Thank you." I smiled and kissed his cheek.

"Tell me later today if you're coming over tomorrow or not." He said as I got out of the car to get Niko's bags out of the back.

"Will do." I shouted as I heard Niko get out.

"Bye!" I heard Jesse shout out the window before he drove down the street.
