Hello Beautiful

I Didn’t Wanna Say I Was Sorry, But I Guess I Will

“Laura, do you want to do On The Line?” asked Joe.

Evy and Casey froze in their seats. They were the biggest Jonas Brothers fans, besides me, in this room and I knew they loved this song.

“Yea, sure. When I wrote this song, it wasn’t really about anything in particular, I just figured that I needed a break up song for my album, but on the set of Camp Rock, we had a-" I looked at Joe, feeling for the right word, “situation, where I could apply this song, and it made me realize that every fight you have, whether it be with a friend, a family member, or a person you’re in a relationship with, it doesn’t have to end badly.”

I didn’t wanna say
I’m sorry
For breaking us apart

I didn’t wanna say
It was my fault
Even though
I knew it was

I didn’t wanna
Call
You back
Cause I knew
That I was wrong

Yeah I knew
I was wrong

One in the same
Never to change
Our love was
Beautiful

We had it all
Destined to fall
Our love was
Tragical

Wanted to call

No need to fight

You know I
Wouldn’t lie

But tonight
We’ll leave it on the line

Listen baby

Never would’ve said
Forever
If I knew it’d end so fast

Why did you say
‘I love you’
If you knew that
It wouldn’t last

Baby
I just can’t hear
What you’re saying
The line is breaking up

Or is that
Just us
Or is that just us

One in the same
Never to change
Our love was
Beautiful

We had it all
Destined to fall
Our love was
Tragical

Wanted to call

No need to fight

You know I
Wouldn’t lie

But tonight
We’ll leave it on the line

Try to call again
And get your mailbox
Like a letter
Left unread

Apologies are
Often open-ended

But this one’s better
Left unsaid

One in the same
Never to change
Our love was
Beautiful

We had it all
Destined to fall
Our love was
Tragical

Wanted to call

No need to fight

You know I
Wouldn’t lie

But tonight
We’ll leave it on the line

We’ll leave it on the line

Yeah
Oh
Yeah

We’ll leave it on the line
Tonight

As me, Kevin, Nick, and Joe sang together I could see my friends analyzing our every movement; they were sure that I must have been dating one of them!!! Trying to confuse them, I held hands with Joe when we sang together; I danced with Kevin, and I locked eyes with Nick. It sounded really great, but maybe it was just me that thought that. Evy and Casey giggled the whole song; they were in love. Maybe I could convince the guys to do a song too, just for them.

“Whoo!”

“Yeah!”

“That’s what I’m talking about!”

“Awesome!”

“That was so cool you guys!”

“You guys are a great audience,” I said.
