Dreams of Red

Johnny and I start to make our way back to the hotel hairs stick up on the back of my neck making me feel uneasy. Finally I ask him whats been bothering me since we left.

"Hey Johnny?"

He stops walking and turns and looks at me. "Hmm?"

"Where is Matt? How Did you know he needed to leave"

His eyes light up with amuzment, "So full of curiosity don't worry Amber, Matt will tell you when he is ready."

He gives me one last smirk before walking talking my hand and dragging me along faster then before to the hotel.

When we get there he opens the door and lets me in first.

"Matt should be back at anytime. So--" His words fall short as the bathroom door opens and Matt walks out in a set a fresh clothes.

They both lock eyes the same way they did at the club and you start to get a little nervous.

"Hey Matt?" You ask barely above a whisper.

"Yes?" He asks his voice cold and impersonal never breaking eye contact with Johnny.

"I think I am ganna go I left Nikki alone after all"

I quickly turn around and scream comming face to face with him.

"What not scared are you?" He laughs his teeth showing with what look to be two fangs. Thats all it took for my world to go black.

I woke several hours later in a bed you don't know with a pair of arms wrapped around my waist. I tried to queitly and softly get them off, but that only caused for them to go tighter around me as if trying to take my last breath.

"Now now Amber, be a good little girl, I like you and thats why your not dead yet, but my patients can only go so far. So if I were you I do as I am told." Matt whispered harshly in my ear before kissing my forhead and sitting up.

Once Matt gets up I took the moment to look around the room and thats when I notice I am in a bunk on their bus, but the bus is moving.

Thats when it hits me I am no longer at home.

Where are we going? Whats going to happen to me? Is he going to kill me? Where is Nikki!? I bolt up in the bunk and hop down before sprinting up front too see all the guys and a very scared Nikki sitting on Zacky's lap. Matt smirks looking at me before speaking

"I was wonder how long it would take you to figure out your friend wasnt right there. I am pleasently surprised you came up here this quickly" He ends it with a small life looking into my emotionless face.

"Come here!" Matt snaps, but I don't look at him my eyes are now locked with Nikki's.

"I said come here are you stupid?" He spits more irratated then ever. I still don't move to him.

"Fine be a stubborn bitch. Vengeance"

Zack immdeitly holds Nikki's neck like he is about to snap it in half.

"NO!" I scream as tears fill my eyes. I look over at the other voice who screamed it at the same time as me. Gemma looks back from her spot on Brian's lap.

"Gemma shut that trap of your and Amber get the hell over here" This time I do as he says and slowly make my way over. When I am close enough to him he reachs out snatching me into his lap and holding me tight.

"See that wasn't so bad now was it? I even got Z not eat feed off of your friend last night so you weren't alone, but if you don't start listening to me I may change my mind"

I look up at him with terror in my eyes and his soften. "Relax Amber I am not going to hurt you" He says softly while rubbing my back.

"Then why am I here, are we here?" I ask my voice barely above a whisper.

"Because I like you and want to get to know you better. But for your own good I am going to ask you not to do anything stupid." His voice is calm, but his meaning behind it is serious. I don't say anything only nod.

"Thats my girl" What am I a dog now? I think to myself as he strokes my hair. All the guys start to laugh including him. I look around confussed, but Gemma speaks up.

"The guys can read our minds so please don't think about anything stupid" She says softly.

Matt growls lowly at Gemma and Syn laughs more.

"So you are all..." I break off not wanting to say it.

"Yes we are vampires except for Gemma" Jimmy finishs for me. I look at him and nod before letting my eyes look at the ground.

"We have to go do a sound cheak" Johnny speaks up as I look at him. "You, Nikki and Gemma are staying here don't even think about leaving" He spits more towards Nikki then myself.

Matt gently sets me off of his lap before getting up with the rest of the guys after Brian kisses Gemma goodbye. The door closes and I instantly bolt for Nikki and we wrapp our arms around eachother. Tears threating to spill from me eyes.

Gemma sighs before speaking, "Calm down Zack wasn't really about to kill her"

I turn my gaze at her and narrow my eyes. "O no then why did you scream No aswell?"

She rolls her eyes before speaking, "Out of reflex, but they won't do anything major to her until they have your trust because they need it. And when I say need I mean it"

"Then what are they going to do with her once they get it?"

She shruggs before answering, " Depends they let Becka go, but if she says one word.." She sighs then countines "They will kill her, but I promise you it's not bad. Brian loves me and protects me and Matt really cares about you."

I almost let out a few laughs before answering, "Right, he only wants to eat me! or fuck me! or both!" Iscream at her. "Have it your way, but you'll see, and incase you haven't noticed Matt hasn't even tried to bite you or insist on anything that physical. He doesn't want to scare you let alone hurt you."

I start to laugh again. "Come on Gemma! Look at him I think the whole scaring me is way past there! and for not hurting me, All he does is threaten me!"

She sighs. "He has to, don't you understand, how else is he to get you to listen? How else will you understand that this can't get out? Matt really likes you, weither you want to see it or not! He is also one of my best friends. He is the person I goto first when I have a problem. God! Just give him a chance Please!"

I look at Gemma before looking over at Nikki and sighing letting my gaze finally rest on the floor before nodding, "Alright I will give him a chance"

She clapped her hands toghter happily before standing up. "Great now that thats settled I am hungry and I saw a Mcdonalds down the road"

I raise an eyebrow before standing up Nikki following my close behind while Gemma writes the guys a note incase they come back before us and don't worry.

I follow Gemma off the bus my mind swirling with visions of Matt. I hope I made the right choice by agreeing to give him a chance. If what Gemma says is true then he isn't so bad and who knows what I will find by doing this.
