We Come out at Night

Edward's P.O.V.

alice saw everything the venom's we're doing. she wasn't to sure if allie was going to come back though. she had seen her leaving but then she didn't see her leaving. i guess allie still doesn't have her mind made up yet. i saw in alice's head that amber told my secret that i was keeping from her.

"alice do you know when they're coming back?" i asked her

"soon" she told me

"is allie coming back too?" i asked her.

"yeah but she might not stay" she said

"why not?" i asked her

"she wants revenge edward" she told me.

"towards her father?" i asked her

"yes that's the main reason why" she told me.

"what's the other reason then?" i asked her

"to see if she can do something your not going to be very happy about" she warned me.

i knew the day after the venom's left they're father came back to town. he was happy about what he did. he knew allie wanted him died for sure. he said id she tried to kill him he'd turn her into one of us. yeah allie would even more what him dead. i knew he's never let her die the whole way. well they way humans do.

"what are you thinking about?" esme asked me.

"if allie is coming ack or not" i told her

"well what you need to to is think which girl you want more" she told me.

"what are you talking about?" i asked her

"well bella is your girlfriend and allie is half of us. you need to choose between them edward. it's a hard decision but you have to make it" she told me.

"i know but me and allie are just friends" i told her

"then why do you like her?" alice asked

"i don't know she just different from everyone else" i said

"i know who your going to choose" alice said

"who?" i asked her

"i'm not telling you. it might change though" she told me.

i went back to the music room and started playing the piano. it felt like ages since i've played. i knew bella would be going to sleep soon so i might as well so over there now. i know she likes to talk before she goes to sleep.

Allie's P.O.V.

we already buried michael. that was the hardest thing for me to see. tomorrow me and amber are going back to washington. i didn't really want to go back but i know i had to. the asshole who killed michael is there and will not come out into the sunlight.

"what are you thinking about?" emily asked me.

"your brother and issues i'm going to have to deal with when i go back" i told her

"why can't you stay? i mean my parents don't mind having you around plus you have your friends here" she told me

"i wish it was that easy but my mom is in washington plus i have friends there too" i told her

"why didn't they come with you? i mean they've met my brother right?" she asked

"well my friends aren't to big on sunlight and they met your brother. my friend alice is the one who gave me and amber all the clothes to wear. i mean she won't let no one wear the same thing twice" i told her

"why can't i have a friend like that?" she asked

"well it's not easy to come by" i told her. i put my hand on her sholder.

"why are you always cold? i mean michael loved that about you though but you never get warm right?" she asked me

"i feel fine it's just something about me that special i guess" i told her

"special ed" she said.

we laughed and amber came into the room with us. she was happy michael's parents let us stay here and not anywhere else. well it's because we could go out and come in at whatever time we wanted too.

Next Morning.

"i wish you didn't have to leave so soon" emily said hugging me.

"yeah me either but i'll try to come back soon" i told her

"we hope so" michael's mom said. i gave a confused look.

"when your around it feels like michael is right there with us too" his dad said.

"oh it feels the same for me too" i told them.

we said our goodbye and went inside the airport. i know next time i come back i hope nothing had changed.
