The Pain I've Grown to Know

Edward's P.O.V.

when we left the area near the cliff. i was holding allie so no one could hurt her anymore. i knew carlisle would save her. well it's been four days since everything happened to her. i've been waiting for her to wake up. she hasn't yet. she's still having all her most painful memories. i didn't want carlisle to turn her if her could save her. she was know wearing a removable casted on her leg and carlisle stopped the bleeding.

"edward you can leave sometime you know to be with bella" carlisle told me

"yeah but i want to be here when she wakes up" i said

"yes but we don't know when yet. alice said it's going to be a few more days" he told me

"fine i'll go with bella" i said and left

i saw alice coming towards the cottage. she had been waiting for me to leave so she could be here. i knew allie had no contact to the whole i mean she cut her thoughts off. no one could hear what she was think. it was almost as if she was just laying there dead.

"carlisle edward we need to get to the house" alice said

"what did you see?" carlisle asked her

"amber's coming. she thinks allie is dead" she said

"what?" i asked

"she's five minutes away" she said

"what is she going to do alice?" carlisle asked

"she going to say mike killed her and he's going to go where allie's body was" alice said

"we have to leave now" carlisle said quickly.

we all ran to the house and made our way inside. we tried not to touch allie that much. we didn't wany him to know we'd helped allie escape her own death.

we went inside as if nothing was wrong. amber soon came threw the doors with jacob. she was even wearing his clothes.

"where's allie?" she yelled at him

"amber?" he said in complete shock.

"who the fuck do you think i am? the night of the living dead?" she said

"i thought you we're dead" he said

"where the fuck is allie?" she yelled at him again.

jacob was tring to calm her down but he couldn't. mike didn't even look at her when she asked that.

"i can't believe i killed my own daughter" he said softly

"what?" amber said and broke down in tears.

"she fucking promised she wouldn't get hurt she fucking promised me" she said. jacob held amber tight. he wasn't going to let her go either.

amber allie is alive. we have here hidden i told her

don't lie to me edward she thought back

i'm not. allie was hurt and he left her for dead. we saved her though. we didn't even use any venom i told her

"i got to go check to see if allie is still there" mike said

"why so you could finish her off?" amber spat at him

"to try to save her" he said and walked out.

"i'm going to go with him" carlisle said.

"then i'll go with you" i told carlisle

we soon catched up to mike. when he go to the spot where allie layed and didn't see her body. he looked for her scent but never found it.

"how could i kill her?" he asked carlisle

"you we're anger and thought your youngest daughter killed your other daughter" carlisle said

"but i killed the baby i never wanted" he said

"what?" i told him

"when her mother found out she was pregnant i couldn't be around her. allie was powerful when she was in her mother. that's why i wanted her to live this life. i knew the power she'd have" he said

"do you think she could of pulled threw?" carlisle asked him

"no there was too much blood lose she would of died" he said looking at the blood on the grass that the rain hasn't seemed to wash away

i knew i had to get to bella but should i tell her about allie being alive? amber knows now. i think bella would think me and allie have been seeing each other if i tell her though. i guess allie is going to be my secret. well keeping her alive is my secret. i just hope i don't have to put any venom in her body.
