"What's this?" Mom asked us.

Uh-oh. I have just this feeling that something bad's gonna happen.

"Uh... Um..."

"Donald?"

"Dear, please listen, Frank here has something to say to you."

"What?!" He exclaimed.

"You know... Go Frank." He pushed him to Mom.

Frank is like about to pee in his pants.

"M-Mrs. Way?"

"Yes, Frank?"

"May I please have a once-in-a-lifetime date with your son, Gerard?" He said as fast as he could. So, he's that nervous.

"Date?"

"Y-Yes, ma'am."

"Hmmm... Let me think. And why would I let you date with Gerard?"

"I-It's just for one day! I promise! I won't do anything to Gerard!"

"Did Gerard tell you about our promise?"

"Of course. He told me every bit of the promise."

"I see.... So when is your date?"

"I-I don't know yet."

"Then I'll plan for you."

Plan? Wait a minute... Is she...agreeing?

"Mom?" Gerard asked.

"It's okay, Gerard. Just for one day."

Frank and Gerard shouted "YES!" in happiness. I was laughing at their childish screams and shouts.

I heard some words like,

"Can't you believe it?!"

"Yeah, I was really about to die there!"

Once again, I laughed because of it.

"So, you two are very much happy right now, am I right?" I asked.

I needed my attention here, so I asked them that.

"Hell, yeah!"

"Isn't it obvious?!"

"Ehem..."

We all stopped talking after Mom caught our attention.

"Okay, is Friday night fine?"

"Of course!" They said.

Mom is cool at dates, you just don't know that.

"Oh yeah, have you seen Lyn-Z here?" Gerard asked.

"Yes. She always asks about you. She is a very persistent one indeed."

"She is always like, Uncle Donald! Where's Gerard? Where is he? I need to find him!"

Frank kinda frowned when Lyn-Z became the topic.

Speaking of frowned Frank, someone knocked at the door.

"Hello? Anybody home?"
