Small Painful World

I woke up in Nicks arms. When I opened my eyes
Nick was looking at me. “What are you doing” I asked
laughing. “Just looking at how beautiful you are” he
said sweetly. I just smiled at him. Today was the day
of my baby shower and Mrs. Jonas had been planning
this for two months. I don’t think there is anything in
the world big enough to give her for everything she has
done for me. I was going to find some way to pay her
back. I started to get up to help Mrs. Jonas. “No babe
don’t get up” nick said. “I have to go help your mom
get ready for today” I said not letting his puppy eyes
effect me even thought I was so hard to ignore. You
could see the disappointment in his eyes when I got
up and started to get dressed. When I walked out o
f the room I heard him say “Love You”. I smiled and
yelled back “Love you too”. “Who me” Frankie said
walking up to me. “No but I love you too” I said grabbing
him and tickling him to death. “You want some
breakfast” I asked him. “No its okay mom already
made me some” he said. Mrs. Jonas walked out
of her bedroom with a huge box of decorations.
“Good morning guys” she said cheerfully. “What’s
that “Frankie said starring at the box. “It’s the decorations
for Heidi’s baby shower today” she said showing him
all the stuff. “Can I help you decorate” he asked in a cute
little voice. “Of course you can” she said as Frankie’s
faced started to glow. We all started to set up. After a
few hours of hard work of setting up we only had an
hour and a half before it started. Me. And Mrs. Jonas
had to go out to the store to get food, and they brought
Frankie along. Joe and Kevin went somewhere to get
something. It was just me and Nick. I sat down on the
couch to relax for a minute. Nick plopped down next to
me. He started to kiss my neck. He worked his way up
. We had been none stop making out for a while now.
He started to take my shirt off and then the door bell rang.
“Shit” nick said in frustration. This was the second time the
doorbell had rung in two day interrupting something. “Calm
down its fine” I said trying to settle him. I went to get the door.
Before I could get there was a loud knock. “I’m coming” I yelled
. I opened the door. “MOM” I said in shock.
