What If There Is No Light At The End Of The Tunnel
*Chapter 1*
I ran hard and fast. Jumping over and dodging trees along the way. I could hear the hounds and screaming from the police to tell me to stop.
I tried to ignore them and kept on going. I wasn’t going to go down without a fight. I regretted what I’ve done to be in this position. But, I didn’t want to pay for my crime.
I looked back to see how close they were. They were right on my heels. I turned back to see where I was going. I tripped over a log and fell face first on to the ground.
I couldn’t get up and my leg was shooting with pain. I let out a cry. I was hopeless. I was going down.
