What If There Is No Light At The End Of The Tunnel
*Chapter 12*
I haven’t heard or seen Frank for the next two days. I woke up around ten-ish and changed into a knee high skirt and a stripped shirt. I put on my low top converses and pulled my hair back in a headband.
I walked down stairs and meet up with my mom in the kitchen.
“Good-mourning Honey.”
“Good-mourning.”; I replied slightly smiling.
I went to the fridge and fixed a glass of orange juice. I sat at the table. I took a couple of sips, then the door bell rung.
I got up to answer it. I opened the door and Frank was standing there. He looked me up and don.
“Wow.”
“What?”; I asked.
“You look…beautiful.”
“This is how I dress every weekend?”
“Well, expect to see me every weekend now.”
I giggled and rolled my eyes.
“Sure. You wanna come in?”
“Um, well. I was wondering if maybe you would like to go out somewhere?”
“Um, sure… Just hold on a minute.”
“Okay.”
I turned and walked away from the doorway and into the kitchen.
“Hey mom?”
“Yeah?”
“Can I go out somewhere?”
“Why?”
“Because, Frank wants me to come with him.”
“I dunno…”
“Please?”
She sighed; “Okay, but be back before dinner.”
“Okay. Thank-you mom. Byes.”
I walked away and met Frank at the door. I walked out and closed it behind me. Then I saw a car.
“You drive?”
“Yeah. You okay with that?”
“Yeah…”
“Okay.”
He then took my hand and opened the car door for me. I got in then he did. He started the car up and drove off.
