‘I continued to hear the screaming, it got louder and worse. Every breath I take, was the last breath I would ever take. I could feel the metal piercing my side, at my lungs, as I heard that one familiar voice say, “Sis. Hang on.”’
I jumped up in the bed, as I let a sigh escape my lips, followed by my left hand going through my, damp, sweaty hair. I looked around the motel room, no sign of anyone. I sat there a moment, as the door flew open, followed by a gush of wind, and there stood Caistel. I quickly rose to my feet, as I looked at him, with a odd expression.
“Caistel.” I whisper.
“Talia. I don’t have much time.”
“What’s going on?” I ask.
“It’s Pariel. Your brother, along with other demons, have her.”
“WHAT?!” I yell.
“Calm down. We have angel’s near.”
“Calm down. CALM DOWN! How the hell am I suppose to calm down, when my WICKED brother has Pariel, hostage!” I yell.
“Talia. Were going to get her.”
“Get her. For all we know she could already be dead.” I spit.
“She isn’t.” another male voice says.
I look past Caistel, to see a older like man standing there as I roll my eyes sighing. “My god. How many more big angel’s are coming down?” I ask.
“As many as we need.”
“No one asked you Zachariah.” I spit.
“You better watch that tone--”
“Blah! Blah! Blah!” I spit.
“ENOUGH!”
“God. Zachariah. Get the cob out of your damn ass. I don’t have time to fool with you two. Pariel is out there, in trouble.” I spit.
I quickly grab my leather jacket, tossing it over my shoulders, tugging it on. I quickly grabbed my gun, as I began to walk out of the motel room, to be stopped by, Zachariah. I looked over at him, glaring which he found amusing, due to his laughing. “Your not going anywhere.”
“Get the fuck off! Old man!” I spat.
I jerked my arm away from as I turned to look at Caistel, glaring. “You know where I’ll be Cas.” I say. I quickly exit the motel room, leaving them two, standing in my dust, as I make my way toward my car, to see no other than, my “father”. I rolled my eyes, as I jerked the car door open, and began to climb in when he spat out, “Where the fuck you going?”
“Far away from you, moron!” I spat.
“I’m here to relate a message to you.”
“What would that be?” I ask sarcastically.
“Meet, James at this address in a hour, if you want to see that girl alive again.”
I glared at him, as I allowed my hand to connect across his face, as I sigh, climbing into the car, as I speed away from everyone…

I sat in the car, as I had it parked outside of the warehouse, where Jimmy wanted me to come. I knew deep down in my heart, this was a trap, but, I would do anything to get Pariel back, from him. I let one more, long, dry, sigh escape my lips, as I slid out of the car, slamming the door shut. I placed my gun, in the back of my pants, as I tugged my shirt, and jacket over it, as I began walking toward the warehouse, when I heard, “Don’t do it.”
I quickly turned on my heels, as I noticed Sam standing there. I looked at him a second, making sure, it wasn’t Jimmy or any other demon. It wasn’t. It was truly Sam. I walked over to him, as I stood inches from him, as I looked up into his green eyes. I let a small, smile spread across my lips, as I looked at him a little longer, before he broke the silence. “What are you thinking?”
“Saving Pariel.” I whisper.
“By yourself?”
“Yes.” I say.
“It’ could be dangerous. Even. Suicide.”
“A risk I am willing to take.” I say.
I leaned up on my tippy toes, as I gave Sam a small kiss on the lips. I quickly turned as I walked toward the warehouse, preparing to face what ever was coming my way….
