Sequel: Black Rose

Statues Without Eyes

Girl Talk

A few days later, I was now shadowing Eric Delko since Horatio thought it would work better. So right now, I was out in the field with Eric as we looked at the evidence at the latest crime scene.
"So you're Horatio's daughter?"asked Eric.
"Yeah,"I smiled,"Kinda weird huh? I mean I don't even look at him."
"So I guess you know about Kyle then?"
"Kyle?"I raised an eyebrow at him.
"Kyle Harmon?"Eric looked at me,"He's Horatio's son."
"Wait, so I have a half brother?"
"I guess he didn't tell you,"He laughed.
"No he didn't,"I looked at him,"But I do know Kyle."
"How do you know Kyle?"He looked at me strange.
"I've been teaching kids to ride at night, Kyle's in my class."
"That's ironic don't you think?"
"It is,"I shrugged,"But he's a good kid, at least when he's there."
"Look after him ok?"
"I will,"I smiled to hear my phone which was a text from Ryan,"Hey Delko."
"Yeah?"
"I've got to meet Ryan out at the range, is it cool if I leave?"
"Yeah I think I've got in under control here."
"Thanks,"I smiled at him.
"No problem,'He smiled back.

At the range, I seen Ryan standing there, hands on his hips, and badge showing. I hadn't seen him the whole day but right now, I wanted nothing to run up to him and just jump him. Bad thoughts, Sylar, bad thoughts.

"Hey Ryan,"I smiled.
"Ready?"He asked me.
"I guess,"I shrugged,"I just want to be able to have a gun to actually work in the field."
"Don't worry you'll get there,"He smirked.
"I hope so."

Getting to practice shooting was fun and after a while, it starts to come back to you. So much that I probably won't need to be out here much longer since I do have experience, just haven't done it in a while. Handing the gun back to the desk, I walked with Ryan back to the parking lot.
"So I guess I'll see you back at the lab?"I asked.
"Yeah,"He opened the door to the Hummer,"Hey Sylar?"
"Yeah?"I turned to face him before getting in my car.
"What are you doing tonight?"
"Are you asking me out Mr. Wolfe?"I asked walking up to him with a smile on his face
"Depends,"He looked at me.
"Well nothing."
"Then I'm asking you to dinner."
I smiled at him,"Ok, what time?"
"6 sound good?"
"Sounds great,"I smiled at him.
"I'll pick you up then,"He nodded getting into his car.
"See ya then."

Smiling to myself, I headed back to the lab, almost bouncing out of my seat since I was so stoked to be going on a date with Ryan. Once I got back to the lab, I went to Natalia in fingerprinting/DNA who noticed the huge smile on my face.
"Wow, someone's in a good mood."
"I am,"I smiled at her.
"And why's that?"
"Because I've got a date tonight,"I smiled bigger.
"Nuh uh, with who?"She smiled.
"Ryan-"I blushed.
"As in Ryan Wolfe,"She looked at me with a smile.
"Yes,"I nodded blushing harder.
"Aww that's so cute,"She smiled at me,"He so likes you."
"And who do you know that?"I cocked my head to the side at her.
"Because ever since you've got here, he's constantly staring at you."
"Seriously?"
"Yeah,"She smiled then looked at him walking past the window,"He's always stealing glances."
"Never noticed,"I shrugged as he walked into the room and my heart fluttered which must've turned into a quick jump since Natalia smirked.
"What are you two going on about?"asked Ryan looking between the both of us.
"Nothing,"Natalia looked at him,"What's up?"
"I need you to run the DNA from the evidence I gave you earlier."
"I'm on it,"She nodded.
"Let me now when you get done."
"I will."

Ryan left the room in which I turned back to Natalia with a smile on my face,"He's so cute."
