Sequel: Black Rose

Statues Without Eyes

Breathe On Me

In the car with Ryan, he drove back to the crime scene with the radio on quietly.
"So Sylar Caine is a profiler?"He asked keeping his eyes on the road.
I cracked as smile at the comment,"I know weird huh? But I've been into profiling since middle school."
"Middle school?"He looked at me.
"Well the equivalent since I went to school in Finland."
"So how did you get into motorcycles?"
"My friends,"I chuckled to myself a bit,"My mom was always around til I turned 10 I think then she got weird so I turned to something to keep my occupied. Then by 17 I was pro but I still loved profiling."
"So FBI?"He looked back at me from the road.
"Yeah,"I sighed,"When I turned 18, I could've worked at the BAU but I decided that it's not what I wanted, I just wanted my bike, the wind in my hair, and the crazy ass tricks."
"So is that how you met Jake?"
"Sorta,"I shrugged,"He's pretty much been watching out for me since I rolled into Miami one day a few years back. He's got my back which no one questions."
"Have you ever shot a gun?"
"Not in a long time,"I smirked,"Like 4 years, so I'm kinda rusty. I told you I chose my bike."
"Well then,"He smiled at me,"I can take you out to the range and help you with that."
"That's nice and all,"I smiled at him,"But how would we get to the range?"
"I worked there a while when I got fired from being a CSI-"
"Wait you were fired? Hmm, I don't think I should be talking to you, you might be trouble,"I smirked at him again.
Ryan rolled his eyes,"I'm reinstated now. But we could go out there tonight?"
"I'd love to but I've got some things planned tonight."
"Like?"
"I know sounds supsicous but you can follow me, I don't care."

Finishing up at the crime scene, I grabbed my keys and hopped on my bike to head to the outdoor track that I was meeting some people. No it's nothing illegal, I was just teaching kids how to race and some easy tricks with a friend. It's only 5 pm as I pulled up into the track to see my friend, Drake standing there.

"Hey Sylar,"Drake smiled at me,"There's only four of them right now, one's on his way."
"And how do you know this?"I looked at him.
"His friend there, Mitchell said he'd be running late."
I looked down at the list,"Kyle Harmon?"
"Yeah,"Drake nodded.
"Well hey, we can start off on basics and I can catch him up when he gets here."
"Alright,"He nodded,"Ok punks-"

I rolled my eyes at Drake, such a bad ass but he had a heart of gold. It was all a show he put on. Fixing my gloves at getting ready to head out there, I heard "Sylar Caine?"
"Yeah?"I turned to look at the boy with semi blond hair with a tint of red.
"I'm Kyle Harmon, sorry if I'm late."
"It's ok,"I smiled at him,"We're just working on basics, have you done this before?"
"Not really,"He shook his head,"But I want to learn. I've seen you live every time you've been to Miami."
"I'm flattered,"I smiled,"And glad you've taken an interest in this."
"Me too."
"So get out there, I'll be out there in minute."

"I didn't know Sylar Caine had such a soft side,"I heard Ryan behind me.
"I know huh?"I turned to look at him to see he changed into just jeans and t-shirt.
"I'm learning more about you each day."
"Same for me, like how you so just stalked me."
"Hey you said you didn't care if I followed."
"And I don't,"I smirked getting on my bike,"So now you know, I'm big on helping kids stay out of trouble even if the community thinks this is bad."
"It's good,"He nodded.
"Stick around, watch me in action."

Heading out to the track, me and Drake decided to show off a bit then we got to teaching the kids basic turns and jumps. Basically I was running an after school program which is anothe reason I'm staying around Miami.

"Alright, so I'll see you all back here Wednesday at the same time,"I looked at them since it was only Monday.

Walking over to Ryan, I sat my helmet down shaking my hair out as I walked up to him. I knew he was looking at me as stopped in front of him.
"It's not nice to stare,"I smirked at him.
"I'm not,"He shook his head.
"Don't lie,"I smirked at him.
"Like you weren't when you seen me at the crime scene."
"No, I was, couldn't help it but my staring was good,"I flashed him a smile as he cleared his throat.
"So you're free tomorrow night?"
"Yeah, why?"
"Nothing,"He crossed his arms,"Maybe we can head to the shooting range tomorrow?"
"Sounds good,"I smiled,"I'll see you tomorrow Ryan."

Heading back to my hotel room, I went to sleep with thoughts of Ryan Wolfe floating around my head. In the morning, I woke up to my phone ringing, picking it up, it read :Horatio Caine.

"Sylar,"I yawned.
"Yes, Sylar,"He started,"When can you get to Miami-Dade?"
"Um, half an hour, why what's up Horatio?"
"There's something we need to talk about."
"Ok, it's not bad is it?"
"I'll see you soon."

God, why does he have to be like that? It makes me nervous like I'm involved in something bad which I know I wasn't, but I mean what if he found out about me? Anyways, getting dressed and heading to Miami-Dade crime labs, I found Horatio standing there in the hallway as I walked up to him.

"So what's up?"I asked standing in front of me.
"Why didn't you tell me your mom was Stvetlana?"He looked at me.
"Look I was going to,"I rolled my eyes but looked at him,"It's partially why I'm staying around Miami."
"Partially?"He looked at me.
"I always wanted to get to talk to you, and I thought why not now?"
"Is your mom in trouble?"
"I don't know,'I shrugged,"I'm not on speaking terms with her right now."
"Why?"
"Horatio, she's changed,"I looked at him,"So much that I haven't been living with her since I was 16."
"I see,"He looked down then back at me.
"Yeah,"I sighed,"So is that all?"
"For now,"He nodded.
"Ok,"I started to walk off but I turned back around,"Hey Horatio?"
"Yes?"
"Do you think I could possibly train to be a CSI? I mean I've got the profiling experience."
"We'll talk,"He nodded.
"Thanks dad,"I smiled as he walked off.

Heading into the lab, I went to where Natalia was, we were getting along pretty well these past couple days so I went to hang out with her for a bit.

"Hey Sylar,"Natalia smiled.
"Hey,"I nodded,"Busy day?"
"Not yet,"She looked at some evidence,"But it's still early."
"I asked Horatio if I could be a CSI,"I crossed my arms looking at her.
"And what'd he say?"
"He said we'd talk,"I sat on a chair watching her.
"Hey, he'll probably let you,"She smiled,"We could use another girl out there."
"Hopefully."

"There you are,"Ryan walked through the door,"Natalia, I need to borrow Sylar."
"Ok,"Natalia smiled.
"Why?"I asked getting up to look at him.
"We're heading to the shooting range,"He motioned to me,"Don't think I'd forget did you?"
"No,"I smiled as I walked out the door to follow Ryan into the car to the shooting range.

Finding a space to start my "lesson" Ryan handed me a gun as I went to shoot it. It was bad, I felt like I've never shot a gun before, hearing Ryan laugh behind me, I turned to give him a glare.
"Shut up, I told you it's been a while."
"I'll help you,"He smirked.

Ryan stood behind me, and I mean directly behind me, then put his hands on mine as he lift them up. I'm hoping he couldn't see the heat rise to my face since I was blushing like crazy. Feeling his head next to my shoulder, my heart fluttered and my stomach flip flopped as I pulled the trigger. I felt him smirk as I brought the gun back down and smiled lightly.
"See that wasn't so bad,"Ryan smirked at me.
"Think you could help me a bit more?"I asked hoping that would be a yes.
"Sure,"He smiled,"Only for a bit but I think you'll catch on easy."
"Yeah,"I looked at him.
We stayed that way for a few more shots, him behind me, helping me shot, and me trying not to blush too hard.
"Think you got it?"Ryan asked in my ear.
"Yeah,"I kept my focus looking forward as he let go of me which I was so not liking.
