I went downstairs and my mom was sitting on the couch watching tv.

"Alright mom Im ready to go.." I told my mom

"First, I would like to talk to you honey..." she told me

"ok?" I sat next to her

"So.. Nick was here last night?" She asked

"Why would you think that?" I asked

"Just... honey...are you having sex?" she asked me

this has just turned into the most akward conversation I have ever had with my mom

Uh noo.. why do y-" she cut me off

"you can tell me the truth..." she said

"with Nick...alright yes..." I said

"are you two being safe?" she asked and I rolled my eyes

"Mom... yes were being...." I trailed off. I remembered this morning. we didn't use a condom

"safe.. mom... of course..." I said

"good. but you really shouldn't be having sex in my house when your siblings and I are here." she said and I was officialy embarassed

"it won't happen again." I promised

"good..." she said

"lets just go mom.." I told her

"one second you go get in the car" she said

"alright"

I opened the door

"Shit Kevin you scared the heck out of me... wait Kevin?"

"hi" he said

I went outside and shut the door.

" This is not possible Kev" I said

"I know I know. I'll explain.... when the ambulance picked me up, they were sure I was dead, but they didn't give up, they used an AED and here I am."

"well then... why didn't we know for so long?" I asked

"They were scared I still wouldn't survive, I had alot of problems breathing and such. they didn't want to get all of your hopes up" He said

"this is surreal..I.." I hugged him

"No one is going to believe this" I told him
