"How the hell are we supposed to tell your family?" I asked

Right then my mom walked out

"Kevin?" she asked confused

"oh boy.." I said

" Nick and Destiny told me you were... Destiny if you were joking about this, it wasn't funny and you will be grounded" my mom said

"She wasn't joking.." Kevin told my mom " I will explain everything.. we just have to go to my house so I can explain to everyone.." He said

"Alright... just one second" my mom said as she went back into the house. Both my siblings came out of the house with my mom, I guess my sister wasn't babysitting anymore.

"how are.... no way is nick going to-" I started

"shh.. just lemme do all the talking" kevin told me

"ok..ok"

my mom drove us to kevin's house and we decided they shouldn't see kevin just yet, so I knocked on thier door alone, nick answered

"hey nick..." his eyes scanned my body, I wasn't planning to see nick today, so I just dressed in whatever

"uhmm nick?" I said

"oh uh hey.. I thought you were going shopping with your mom" he said confused

" I was.... but then I ran into this guy and-"

"oh great you came here to break up with me.... alright... get it over with" He said with hurt in his voice

"no...no I didn't I just ran into somebody you know.." nick showed a sign of relief

"oh.. who?" he asked

Kevin came up behind me

" Hey Nick.." he said

Nick was speechless and his mouth was wide open. He finally said something.. more like yelled something...

" MOM!!!! DAD!!!!" Nick yelled

His parents came running down stairs, they looked worried.

"What,what is it nicholas?" his mom asked, his mom looked at me then at nick, then back at me... I guess she noticed my short shorts... then she saw him...

Joe ran downstairs too, they all froze

" Uhh hi guys" Kevin said and my momand my siblings walked up too and we all went inside...

Kevin told them everything he told me at first it was silent, then everyone was kissing and hugging kevin. Everyone except Nick he was no where near us. I decided to look for him.

He was in his room, I could tell he was mad. I hated when Nick got mad cause' when he was mad... he was mad

He threw things off his shelf and then I walked in and he just looked at me

"how long were you standing there?" he asked

" long enough..."

" I"m sorry..." he told me as he sat on his bed, I sat by him and put my hand on his back

"whats wrong Nick?" I asked

"nothing.. I just lost my temper... " he said

"and why did you?"

"Because kevin fucking put me through so fucking much! and I went through it for NOTHING!"

" Nick, why don't you just go downstairs" I told him

"No.. I don't want to see him"

"why? I know you missed him.." I said

"he pretty much killed me... I can't just go down there and act like everything is fine"

"Nick! You're ridculous, you always are!" I said rolling my eyes and standing up

"excuse me?" he said with a hint of anger in his voice

" Do you want me to say it again?" Nick rarely took his anger out on me, I could tell he was trying to hold back his anger towards me and I really did not want to fight with him.

I grabbed his hand and intertwined our fingers, he began to calm down.

"Look nick.. lets just go downstairs... I'll be by you the entire time." I said

he pulled me close and hugged me

" sorry D..." he mumbled

"it's alright.. and Im sorry too..." I kissed him and we went downstairs

"Nick.. can we talk?" Kevin asked, Nick looked at me and Kevin and Nick went in the backyard

" Nick.. why don't you seem happy to see me?" Kevin sounded hurt

" I am.. its just.. when I lost you Kevin.. it made D and I go through so much. I hated Joe... my life was hell" I said

" why did you hate Joe?" he asked me

" he killed you.. or at least I thought he did." I said quietly

" Nick... you should never hate anyone... especially your brother.." Kevin said

" I know..."

"I think you should really apologize to Joe.." He told me

"yeah..."

" but first.." Kevin hugged me and kissed my head

" I love you nick"

"I love you too Kev"

I went inside and found Joe..

"Hey Joe, can I talk to you for a minute?"

"uhh yeah sure" we went in the kitchen

" Joe.. I'm sorry. I don't hate you at all" I told him

"You don't?"

"no... I'm really really sorry...." I said

"... It's alright Nick.." I hugged Joe.

" I love you man.." I told Joe
