I called Aiden when I got up to my room.

"Hello."
"Hey Aiden."
"Jade whats wrong you sould a little upset."
"Well you know what my mom walked in on,well she told me she doesn't care what I do with you as long as I came out to my dad,and well I did."
"Well howed it go babe?"
"Um...he just said he always knew I was different and left the room."
"Oh, When I told my dad,I was o a fishing trip with him and he kinda over reacted and jumped up,accidentally falling out if the small boat we were on,if that makes you feel any better Jade."
"I feel a bit better thanks Aiden,bye."
"Okay,love, see you tomorrow."

My mom told me she wouldn't be home when I got home tommorow, but she'd be
here shortly and that if I wanted I could just bring Aiden straight home with me.
That made me happy!

The school day flew by for me and soon I was walking home,Aiden by my side,our
fingers entertwined, hands swinging lightly.I told him that my mom wasn't going
to be when I got there but she'd be there shortly.He seemed fine with it, then he
asked,"Well what do you want to do to day."

"Other than be with you?"

"I know i'm undeniable but yes." he replied.

"Ummm..well i'm enjoying walking around with you... do you want to maybe take a walk around the park?"

"Sure but shouldn't you call your mom and tell her we're not going home?"

"Yeah." I replied taking out my cell and calling my mom.

"Hello?"
"Hi ,mom."
"Oh hi hun what cha need?"
"Just telling you that me and Aiden aren't coming straight home we're going for
a walk around the park."
"Awww...." that teenage dreaminess(sp?) returning in her voice again, "don't stay
out to long I'll have dinner done shortly after I get home."
"Kay bye." I said ending our conversation.

Suddenly I hear, "Oh look at the flaming little homos." from beside me. It was
Damon, I couldn't hate him more If wanted to..he was the schools bad boy...the
emo druggie..oh and did I forget to say a complete homophobe. I think secretly he
hates homos so uch cause he's one too but wont admit it..haha. Any way he
comensed(sp?) to anoying us half way to the park untill Aiden couldn't take
it any more.

He walked over to Damon pushed him swiftly to the ground and said,"Why don't
you leave me and Jayden alone and go home and suck your secret little boyfriends
dick cause we all know your secretly gay...Fuck off ass hole!"

Damon just jumped up and pranced off like a girl.I burst out in a fit of laughter,
"You. are. amazing." got out between giggles. "I know." he said leaning over
catching my lips in a light breath taking kiss, stopping me mid giggle. He is so
amazing...

We were at the park for almost two hours when the sun started to set. I said,
"Aiden I think we should go home...before it gets to late." He said nothing and
grabbed my wrist dragging me to the hill on the far side of the park. I sent him a
questioning look. He just pulled me down into his arms and said," We'll go home
after the sunset." I looked up at him and smiled...is there a rule against how many
time you can say some one is amazing in one day? He just held me untill the sun
was gone. He let go and stood up I instantly felt empty, Aiden grabed my hand
and we began to walk home.

"Oh shit!" I whispered.

"What?" Aiden said behind me.

"My dads home." I said poiting to the black car sitting in the drive way.I walked
up the steps and peeked in the window besind the door seeing what was going on
inside.

"You knew he was gay for how long?!" he yelled my mom didn't anwser. "and you
just let him go off with that Stareings kid, even though he's suposed to be
grounded." My mom was crying silently I just wanted to run in there and punch
the life out of that man..but nothing could prepare me for what happened next.
He hit her. "You bitch take that faget and get out of my house."

She gasped, got up shaking, and ran out the door stopping cold seeing me at the
window. She sobbed, "Oh Jayden...!" she ran to me it was all I could do to hold
her up. "Aiden do you think we could come to your house just for to night?"

"Yeah my mom will understand." he barley whispered, probably in just as much
shock as I was.

"Mom,mom come on we need to get out of here." I said as Aiden and I began
helping her to my car. I looked back through the window and my da- I mean
that man was just standing there staring, I flipped him the bird then we drove off.
"Mom are you okay?"

"I-i'm oka- no i'm not, but I have to pull myself together. Jayden do you think
we can we make it to the bank before it closes... I-i need to take out some money
before you father takes my name off the acount."

"Y-yeah mom." I said I was starting to break down this is all my fault.We
pulled into the bank and my mom transfered enough money into a new acount
to buy a new house and to live on for a long while. Did I mention my family had
a small fourune.Then we headed toward Aidens house.

We were about half way there when I lost it... I just pulled over to the side of the
road and started crying. Both Aiden and my mom looked at me startled at my
sudden outbreak, "This is all my fault," my voice broke, I felt Aidens soft
comforting fingertips rubbing circles on my back, "If I hadn't told him he wouldn't
be mad and none of this would have happened."

"Baby that's not true and you know it." Aiden said in a quiet voice. He placed a
soft peck on my cheek and blushed seeing my mom watching.

'Honey this has been coming for awhile...your father,"

"Don't call him that!" my despair now turning to anger.

"He has been distant for quite a time...I-i just didn't expect him to snap so soon."
That didn't matter to me..I just couldn't get that last scene out of my head, how
could he just hit her like that? I didn't eve relize I'd started to cry harder, I just
felt some one pulling me out of the drivers seat carry me around the car and gently
put me in the passenger seat.I didn't bother to even try and stop the flow of tears
streaming down my face.

I hadn't even noticed that the car was moving till a soft voice said," Jade baby,
come on we have to go in." I stood wipeing my face and leaned on Aiden for
suport. I looked around for my mother.

"Where's my mom?"

"Don't worry I showed her inside and my mother and her are talking right now,
I don't think you noticed you were realy upset." I sighed loudly, I shook myself.

"I'm realy sorry about that..." I sighed again.

He put his arms around me and started leading me toward the house. He didn't
feed me any 'it's alright' bull shit...cause he knew right now it wasn't.

We walked and I saw our moms talking at the diner table,it looked like my mom
had been crying again. I just pushed out of Aidens arms and fell into hers..Why am
I so upset about this, i never even liked the man anyway. I collected myself and
got up telling both mine and Aidens mom good night. I walked back to Aiden
just wanting a pair of arms around me. We walked up the stairs together and
made it to his room. He turned down the cover to his bed and motioned me to get
in. We both laid down I curled up into his arms again this time we were staring
at each other silently he leaned in and kissed me.He pulled back and whispered,
"I love you and the world may not be perfect but as long as I have you I'll be
happy." I smiled for the first time since the sun set today and feel into a restless
sleep.
