I Could Rest Beneath Your Smile

Brooklyn and Max Talbot had always planned on waiting to have children until they were married for a few years and Max had retired from hockey. So, they were shocked when they found out that she was pregnant before they were even engaged. Now, they are trying to deal with being newlyweds and new parents, while Max is at the top of his career and Brooklyn’s trying something new by being the stay-at-home mother. Some things just don’t always go as planned.

This is the third part of the saga, after Rise and Fall and I Can’t Do It Alone. It’s not necessary to read those two first, but it would probably help in understanding the characters a little bit more.
