It just ain't living

The next day Sienna and Mikey decided to go in to the city, due to the brisk weather both rugged up, holding hands in central park an enjoying the buzzing atmosphere.

Mikey and Sienna were photographed with out even noticing. After having lunch Mikey drove back to jersey and dropped Sienna off at her house.

“Do you want to come in” She asked
“um…what about your dad?" Mikey asked hesitantly
“it’s ok..he’s not here”
“Ok then” Mikey replied

Following Sienna in to her house he saw how immaculate it looked, walking in to the lounge he saw a lot of photo’s of Sienna and a few of a woman he didn’t recognise “Who’s that”he said pointing at one of the photo’s

“That there is my mother Jennifer”
“Wow you look so much alike” Mikey replied

Making coffee, Sienna gave Mikey a tour of her house, getting to her bedroom Mikey placed his cup of coffee on a shelf and done the same to Sienna’s

Pulling her in to an embrace, he kissed her on the lips. Sienna looked up at him with sad eyes “What’s wrong?”
“I’m going to miss you while your gone”
“I wont be gone that long I’ll be back before you know it” Mikey replied trying to be reassuring

Sienna cuddled into Mikey, holding her tight he didn’t want to let her go but at hearing the front door open and close they broke apart .

“Sienna is that your dad?” mikey asked
“um…yeh I think it is but he shouldn’t be here…um stay here and I’ll go check”
“ok”

As Sienna left her room she quietly worked down the stairs and called for her dad
“Daddy is that you?”
“Yes Sienna it is...I’m in the kitchen”

Sienna walked into the kitchen where her dad was sitting at the table going through paper work, She wasnt expecting her father to be there and was surprised when she saw him in the flesh

“So what have you been up too?” Phillip asked
“Ahh...Mikey and I went in to the city where we looked around central park and then came back here” Sienna said slipping in the fact that Mikey was indeed in the house
“Well it sounds like you have had a pleasant day...So where is this Mikey?” Phillip replied
“Currently he’s in my room...but don’t worry I was only giving him a tour of the house” Sienna said trying to defend herself
“Well when am I going to meet the boy that has captured my daughter’s heart?”

Sienna couldn’t fathom the words that were coming out of her father’s mouth...she didnt know what to think if anything she was shell shocked, did her father now have a change of heart...was he finally going to accept that his daughter was in love?

Meanwhile up in Sienna’s room, mikey had heard nothing of what Sienna was saying to her father instead something had caught his attention, on Sienna’s deck he had noticed a note pad and as he continued to read he saw that it was her to do list - reading it he saw there were things Sienna wanted to do now that she had survived cancer, reading he saw one in particular, before long he could hear footsteps coming back up the stairs towards Sienna’s room.

Opening the door Sienna noticed that Mikey was sitting on her bed, she walked in and closed the door
“So what happened” Mikey asked
“Um...I was wondering if you would like to meet my father?” Sienna said looking at him waiting for his response
“Um..does he know I’m here? I thought he didnt like me?”
“It wasnt that he didnt like you...I think he was just scared that I had found someone...I really don’t know...and yeh he know’s you’re here, I couldn’t lie to him
“Well then I’d love to” Mikey replied
A smile spread across Sienna’s face, grabbing Mikey’s hand she walked downstairs with him in tow and walked in the lounge area where her father was.

“Daddy this is Mikey, Mikey this is my father Phillip” Sienna said introducing both of them

Both shook each others hands and made small talk, Sienna could tell that it was a little strained but she didnt mind she was just happy that Mikey had now met her father and that her father was willing to accept Mikey as her boyfriend.

Shortly after that Sienna walked Mikey to the front door “I’m really gonna miss you”
“Why don’t you come with me” Mikey suggested
“I cant I have work and like you said it’s only for a few days and then you will be back” Sienna replied
“I love you...and I never got to ask how were you after last night?...I feel proud that you wanted me”
“It was everything I wanted and I’m glad it was you...I couldn’t have asked for anything better”
“Alright then I will call you later...and see you in a few days, have fun at work...Don’t miss me too much”
“I’ll try not to”
Kissing Mikey on the lips she whispered “I love you” in which he also whispered the same back.

After leaving Mikey had a feeling of happiness that he couldn’t shake away, it was like life was finally in order from back when he had his break down while making the current MCR album ‘The Black Parade’, it was like nothing was going to interfere with his or Sienna’s happiness, he had finally found a woman that accepted him for who he was nothing more nothing less, never passing judgement always trying to find the good out of a bad situation, which made him love her even more. Feeling how he was there was nothing he wouldn’t do for her and there was one particular thing he would be able to do.

Though what Mikey did know was that the happiness was going to be short lived for both of them, destruction would occur and there wouldn’t be anything that either would be able to do about it or would there?
