Kayla's P.O.V

I was sitting on drakes lap still drinking there special blood when the sun shined into the clearing

Making everyone in the clearing feel uncomfortable, we can stay in the sun for a little while but it’s uncomfortable and because of our pale skin we burn easily.

I was dazed by Drakes hair how the different blues showed up in the light it was just so beautiful.

"You look amazing the way the sun hits you right now" he told me and squeezed my waist as we moved to a cave on the edge of the clearing to get out of the sun

"I can’t be anywhere as amazing as your hair" I said

"I’m not sure if now’s a good time to tell you Kay but I can kind of read minds when I want to" Mark told me "and the thoughts that your putting into Drakes mind are kind of wrong"
I looked at drake and he blushed

"Hey I didn’t make him think anything" I said innocently

"Yeah you did if you weren’t so attractive I would think the thoughts I think" he said
I rolled my eyes and asked mark "how far?"

"What?" he asked confused

"How far away does a person have to be for you not to be able to read their mind?" I asked

"Well I don’t know I’ve never tried" he told me "and I can stop reading his mind and no before you ask I didn’t read your mind"

"Ok but still I don’t want you peeking" I said

"I don’t about a mile or two" he admitted

"Ok" I said and got up "you coming" I held my hand out to drake

"Where we going?" he asked taking it and running off with me

"I don’t know away so he won’t read our minds" I told him then ran off

"Wait" he said stopping “you better get back to your dorm"

"Yeah it is getting late" I said
