Are You Afraid Of Being Alone?

I pretty much stared at her bedroom door for a few minutes, Kelsey was glaring at me, oh how much that girl hated me. I sighed for the fifth time and knocked three times. Nothing. I knocked once again

"Go away Kelsey" I heard Billy's voice, he voice seemed weak and sad, I flinched at the sound and immediately wanted to stab myself in the heart for making her suffer.

"It's me Bil.." I said softly, I heard nothing but silence...Kelsey's hateful face became worried, curious. The door slowly opened, and the sight of Billy made guilt ran through my bones, she was wearing a huge t-shirt as her pj's, her short black hair was a mess, her eyes had purple bags under them and her nose looked so red she could pass as a clown. Her face showed no emotion, she stared at me like I was some boring TV show.

I looked into her eyes to find some hope, but I could only see pain. It killed me I swear, I felt like running again, but I knew that wouldn't make things any easier, and I did the only thing I could think so, I hugged her so tight I thought I was going to break her in two, 'please forgive me I whispered in her hair, she stood there dumbfounded, but after a few seconds she wrapped her tiny arms around my body, I smiled. The relief I felt is something I cannot describe with words.

I was laughing at Billy, whom didn't know how to make coffee, I think she was the only person in the entire world above the age of 20 who couldn't make coffee. After I apologized with her she told me it was okay that I didn't had to worry and that she understood I felt that way, but there was something she told me that even laughing at her silliness I couldn't take it off my mind You're the wings that keep my heart on the clouds, the way she said it send shivers down my spin, I knew the song I think once I've heard it, but I swear to you, she whispering me that in the ear. The girl just got herself a heart to play with.

After a long day, we kind of just lie down in her bed, starting at the ceiling and talking about random stuff.
"You know" I said to her "Yesterday I saw this movie...about a girl that met a boy and yeah you know the typical high school musical story" She laughed a bit "But the thing is that, when they finally are like together and happy and blah blah, she tells the guy she has leukemia" She remained silent "So the guy is sad and yeah, but he obviously come backs to her" I said holding tighter "And he made all her wishes come true

But literally, I mean she has this little to-do list, with all the things she wants to do before she dies, and the dude make all those things real, it's pretty sweet actually. Anyways, I was thinking...what do you want to do before, well yeah..." I said, waiting for her answer, she was quiet for a few minutes

"I don't know.." She said softly "I mean it's not like I want to do something before I, well, die." I unwittingly flinched "I have the bestest best friend, the most amazing job, and a boyfriend any girl would kill for" She said looking up at me, I smiled at her kissing her forehead

"Yeah, I know you boyfriend is amazing" She laughed softly "But there has to be something you want to do" I insisted, I wanted to make her the happiest person alive, I loved her, I truly do, and I didn't care about no one but her

"Well you know there's the typical stuff; go to college, which I already did. go to Europe, get married, have kids. But I guess that ain't possible" She shrugged, I started to think, it bothered me that she wanted kids, no! not because I didn't, but because she couldn't, is not fair...

"Well, I can make two of those true" I said, lifting my body up resting it in my elbows, looking down at her confused face, I grinned like an idiot before her confusion turn into cynical

"Right" She said rolling her eyes, but I could see a small smile playing on her lips

"Yes, I'll take you to Europe, and when we're in Paris, we'll get married" I said grinning once again like an idiot, realizing I just kind of proposed

She laughed, a real laugh "Don't be silly Brian, I have a job, and you do too" She said touching my nose with her index finger

"I just proposed you and you tell me you have a job" I said with fake hurt, she laughed again

"You didn't proposed, you stated a fact" She said looking at me, I knew she was going to make me do it. But I had other plans

"Oh...well, we're still going to Europe" I grinned, kissing her lips quickly before standing up to call the travel agency. I stared at she sat on her bed, looking at me with a funny face, I just smiled at her, she rolled her eyes smiling and shaking her head side to side.

"Hey Zacky, I got news" I said to my best friend on the phone, after I called the travel agency they told me the only tickets left in first class (She had to have the best of the best) we're the ones going to Italy the next morning, so I had to let my band know I was traveling

"What's up Syn?" He said casually

"I'm going to Europe with Billy tomorrow"

"You're doing what!?" He said a little shaken up

"You heard me, I know it sounds stupid, but something just, uhm, came up and yeah we have to go, I swear I'll explain you as soon as we're back. Tell the others 'kay? Bye dude I love you, take care." And I hung up, I had to pack the necessary.

I smiled at Billy as I picked her up, she had the most contagious smile plastered on her pretty face. I swear just knowing I made her this happy send me into nirvana. And so we made our way to the airport, to our future together. I was going to be with her until her last breath was taken, she was my world now. The only thing that matters in the universe, the prettiest girl alive. My one and only, my fiancée.
